Valmista kamaa - FOs

Kaulahuivia on nyt lähemmäs pari metriä, lankaa kului lähes pari kerää.

The scarf is now nearly two meters long and took nearly two balls to make.



















Serkukset...Veljentyttärelle luvattu pipo on vihdoin valmis. Koska lankaa sen kun vain riitti, se sai kaverikseen lapaset. Huolimatta langan makeudesta piti vielä lisäsöpöistää näitä kukkasilla, osittainen inspiraatio kuuluisasta bibosta. Somistin myös aiemmin esittelemääni pipoa kukalla ja virkatulla pitsillä. (Tämä näyttää huomattavasti paremmalta mallin päässä, mutta kuvaa oli mahdotonta saada - pipo lensi kaaressa.) Mutta kyllähän pikkutyttöjen asusteet saavatkin olla söpöjä, vai mitä?

Cousins...The hat that I promised to my niece is finally finished. Because the yarn did not ever seem to end I made a pair of matching mittens. Despite the sweetness of the yarn I just had to garnish them with some flowers (partially inspired by the famous "bibo"). I also garnished the previously presented hat with a flower and some crocheted lace. (This looks much better on the model's head but it was impossible to get any picture - the hat was flying in an instant.) But accessories for small girls can take a load of sweetness, or what do you think?



















Liityn joukkoon. Tämä poncho on kirjaimellisesti yksi tuhannesta (lue tuhansista). Tämä on tarkoituksella mallia pikkuisen lyhyempi ja omaa tulkintaa tässä on muuten oranssien hapsujen yksi tummanpunainen lanka. (Ei näy hyvin kuvassa, mutta luonnossa hapsut saavat kivasti syvyyttä.) Hapsut ovat muuten mahdottomat nukkaamaan. Olen kirjaimellisesti poiminut nukkaa suustani ja valmiista ruuasta kun eksyin kerran keittiöön tämä päälläni.

I'm joining the crowd. This poncho is not one in a million but almost literally one of the million of its kind. This is meant to be slightly shorter than the model and my own twist is the single dark red thread among the orange ones in the fringes. (This can barely be deciphered in the picture but irl it adds a nice depth to the fringes.) The fringes, btw, leave a horrible amount of fluff behind. I have been picking it out of my mouth and from food after working in the kitchen once dressed in the poncho.
